Syros, Samos, and Plomari on the island of Lesvos.
Unique Features
A wide range of length-to-beam ratios. Narrower vessels were designed for increased speed, while broader ones prioritised maximising capacity. A small transverse transom (kathreftis/takos) was placed at the upper part of the bow post, to which the two front ends of the bulwark were fastened. Most wooden shipbuilders consider the Perama to have a similar hull type to the Trehantiri due to the resemblance in the shape of the middle frame.

No, but many still sail in the Aegean. On Lesvos, a similar type called Perama or Peramataki, up to 8 m long and lacking the bow mirror plate, is still constructed
