Unique Features The bow and stern posts were straight, with the bow inclined forward and the stern backward. The bow was significantly more curved than the stern. Exhibited pronounced sheer, meaning the heights of the bow and stern differed from the height at the midpoint. Considered a manoeuvrable but unstable vessel.

Purpose Primarily fishing. Occasionally used as a commercial vessel (larger Tsernikia). Sponge diving, particularly in Symi.
