Unique Features The hull shape was designed to be highly suitable for sponge diving. The abacus covered 1/3 of the stern height. The vessel featured a deep draught and pronounced sheer. Its distinct hull design required significant ballast for normal sailing and adequate stability. A unique characteristic was the painting of each plank row on the bulwark and upper hull with a different colour before installation on the frame. Common colours included blue, green, white, and brown.
